The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands had a stock of corporate gifts branded as “Holland,” which no longer aligned with the country’s current “Netherlands” identity. Discarding them would create avoidable waste.


The challenge was to revitalize the collection by aligning it with the new branding while retaining its purpose or reimagining its narrative and use.

The Netherlands, a land of resilience and innovation, has shaped its unique identity through centuries of history. From mastering water to embracing diversity, the Dutch have consistently pushed boundaries. As they stride towards the future, they remain deeply rooted in their heritage, blending tradition with modernity to create a sustainable and prosperous nation

Iconography

The iconography designed for this project was derived from the Dutch symbols. Symbols of their heritage, culture and innovation. As the branding has changed these gave a sense of nostalgia and honoured country’s culture and heritage
